I have the best cousins ever! Yes, ever! I love them and I treat them like my brothers and sisters. We’ve grown together with each other’s presence and that built a strong relationship between all of us. But it’s not perfect, we do have conflicts just like the time when they confronted me and told me that they don’t like me. HAHAHAHA! I had so much great memories with them. Here are some:

We have this so-called group: “Spy Kids”. We were imitating spies that we had seen on the television. We had missions and assigned officers. We battled against our neighbors by throwing sand at them. We had “formations” even when we’re just scampering around the village. We also had a tree house. See, we’re awesome (even if we look haggard in the photo)!

We were trying to save up money just to buy a hamster. We want it so badly that we even worked for our grandmother. That’s how desperate we were that time. Then after all the cleaning, my grandmother will give us 5 pesos each (which was like a gold bar for us kids). But in the end of the day, we will be tempted to buy junk foods so back to zero. Mission failed!

Playing Patintero, Tumbang Preso, Taya-tayaan, Tagu-taguan, Agawan Base, Good Morning Mickey and Dodgeball!

My childhood memories is as special as the people I spent it with.

To start off, I want to greet you “Happy Mother’s Day!”. Of course because you’re my mother. You don’t know how grateful I am to have you as my mother and I couldn’t wish for more. Without you I am nothing; you have carried me for 9 months and gave birth to my existence. Thank you for everything that you have done. Do you know that you’re the reason why I believe in “Mother knows best”? Yes, you are, because you always lead me to the right way and when I follow your advice, I regret nothing and I always end up well. In my ‘ups and downs’ you’re always there to cheer me up and to help me keep going. When I fall down, you’re always there to pick me up. And lastly, I thank you for making a child of God. You are the one who introduced me to God and you brought me closer to Him. This is not enough to pay back everything you’ve done.But I want you to know that: I LOVE YOU and I always will!

Living in a world with accurately 7 billion people. You’ll be encountering many faces in different places. And among those are heaven’s sent to take under your heavy wings. And they are called “friends”. Friends are truly blessings. Why?

They stretch their hands just to uphold your downfall.

They fix your frown then turn it upside down.

They illuminate in the midst of your dark times.

They help you push through when you’re on the edge of giving up.

And those are enough to prove how friends are boon in one’s life.

But to see how fast friendships fade is too much to handle. It hurts so bad and so surreal! I just can’t believe that simple misunderstandings can ruin relationships easily. How?

When a sentence or even a word was encoded differently, way different to what you were really trying to say, ends one strong friendship.

From friends; back to strangers. That easy!

I feel so blessed to have her as my mother. The mother who pours unconditional love unto her children. The woman who lighten up your dark days. The one who straighten up your mistakes. The person who is always there to support you and stand by you. She’s the best and I couldn’t ask for more. Happy Mother’s Day!

My sisters are the sweetest. Though there are times like being on the verge of throwing them outside the window, HAHA kidding. The words “I love you!” is too awkward to say to them. But I love them so much and God knows that.

As I skim through my dashboard, this video caught my attention. A short documentary that proves how jolly and warm Filipinos are. And I can’t agree more with everything that he said. I’m delighted to see foreigners appreciating the simple things that we could offer even with the absence of money and luxuries.

Besides from being hospitable, another characteristic that I admire about our race is being carefree and lighthearted. We all know that our country is in the midst of poverty that keeps on pulling us down. But that won’t hinder us from smiling and laughing. Even floods and disastrous monsoons can’t knock us down. With just a smile on our face, we can push through obstacles no matter how big or small they are. And I believe that Filipinos’ strong faith in God contributes a lot to our “high spirits” because we know that we can do anything and nothing can stop us if God is with us.

Truly, money can’t buy us happiness.

After going to Church, we went to Sun Valley to celebrate my uncle’s birthday with our relatives from my mother’s side. Look how big our family is and that’s barely one-fifth of the whole clan and I’m not even lying!

Who would even dare to miss some epic jump shots?

Of course, as an ordinary Filipino family, we always take pictures anytime and anywhere even with just trees. HAHA!
